Highlight of today was trying a fruit called cannastelle! It is teardrop shaped and around the size of a fist. It is yellow, and orangeish on the inside. It is the texture of cooked pumpkin, and tastes like it too - only sweeter! Soooo good!
Also I forgot - yesterday I tried Inga fruit. It is long and hard - the kids call it snake fruit. You twist it to crack it open, and the inside pieces look kind of like banana chunks that have been cut up, except they are covered with a short, wet, furry surface. It was light and sweet, and had sizable seeds considering the fruit size. Pics can be found here, even if you aren't on facebook.
